US Federal Deficit down

I had to read about it in the People's Daily (ChiCom) to see the facts reported without a big "but" in the first paragraph. e.g.: US deficit down but war deaths continue; deficit reduced, but Americans still poor; deficit spending cut, but [fill in any liberal gripe].

Not much is made of the fact that the deficit is down due in large part to increased tax revenues. Wait a minute... that doesn't square with the fact that Bush's tax cuts for the rich were going to bust the welfare bank. Lets see, reduce tax rates, collect more tax revenue, its a trick isn't it? That would only work if Capitalism worked, and all liberals know it doesn't. Marx said so.
