Kool-Aid drinking started in Nebraska

The Beatrice Fiddler has a nice Nebraska interest story: Koolaid was invented in Hastings in 1927. The article isn't really about Kool-Aid history so much as it is about how a young man on a road trip views our state. Check out the Fiddler's links; it is an interesting story, and has nothing to do with the unhappy Kool-Aid metaphor that arose from the Jonestown, Guyana People's Temple cult deaths.
