From Overlawyered: The European Parliament was recently thwarted in its effort to mother the poor, sunburned Eurolaborer.EuroParliaMom wanted to force them to wear their shirts in the heat of the day so they wouldn't get skin cancer. Maybe it was because the average Euroworker puts in so few hours it would be impossible to get a sunburn, but I'm guessing the real reason the proposal was dropped was that most of the outdoor sweat labor in Europe is done by darker skinned workers these days. Real Euro Wussies don't dig ditches!
What next, the 'clean underwear' bill?
