Heard on the Glenn Beck radio show today, found the story at the NY Post. A rich cat in a divorce tried to get a ring back from his soon-to-be-ex wife. Her lawyer responds by calling him a "Native American giver".
How could the lawyer have taken such pains to make the accusation PC and fail to see the implied racial slur, i.e. that Red Indians can't comprehend property law or are dishonest? Avoiding the non-PC word Injun didn't make the epithet any less a racial slur.
