Make a call, kill a bee?

No Pollination

You saw it on Drudge this morning. There's a possibility that cell phone radiation is killing off the honeybees. That takes a little wind out of my pet theory that pesticides or GMO crops were doing it.

I guess it's up to the Democrats to write a "make the world safe" bill. With one stroke of the pen they'll have to eliminate cell phones, vehicle emissions, handguns and whatever else they perceive as threatening.

I worry about the bees. We need those little flower humpers.

Colony Collapse Disorder

You've likely heard of this by now. Bees and beehives are disappearing at a rate that has my fearful attention. How long could this country survive without the pollinating efforts of the amazing honeybee? Five years? And why is it only happening in North America?
