It has been almost a year since the Plains Feeder first reported David Koebele's arrest in a child sex sting in Iowa. The Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier reported last weekend that he has been indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of "attempted enticement of a minor and interstate travel with intent to commit sexual activity with a minor." I don't have any new details that aren't in the Courier story.

Koebele is an Airman with the 55th Security Forces Squadron here at Offutt AFB. The "Hometown Hero" article I mentioned in last year's PF post about David Koebele has, understandably, disappeared.

Here is one for the books: The case against 32-year-old Jonathan Johnson of Omaha is pretty clear: he admits molesting several area kids. The most disgusting aspect of Mr. Johnson's confession is his attitude that having sex with kids is only wrong "because of what's happening to all of our lives now.
