At the risk of being called a racist yet again, I note that the Gateway Pundit post linked above states that most undecided voters at this late date are white people. Because I'm not a racist, I won't suggest that most of these undecided voters will reflexively vote for the white candidate. Sure, over 90% of black voters say they will pull the lever for Obama, but what if there is an inverse Bradley effect among black voters? Will some black voters, in the privacy of the voting booth, break with the overtly racist notion that real blacks must vote for another black, no matter what?

Sarah Palin

Sarah Palin, the Republican Vice-Presidential candidate, will be holding a rally today in downtown Omaha, Nebraska. Sarah has been doing some heavy lifting for the McCain-Palin ticket in the last few days. She has been raising the issue of Barack Obama's relationship with admitted, unrepentant Weather Underground terrorist and Pentagon bomber Bill Ayers and his equally horrible wife Bernardine Dohrn.

It would seem that John McCain has finally realized what a powerful campaigner Governor Palin can be if she is given some freedom to be herself. She is less than 100% effective when she reads the lines the old boys in the McCain camp write for her, and it shows. I hope she continues the 'gloves off' style today.

It should be a great opportunity for Nebraskans to see Sarah the Moose-slayer up close and personal. Sarah doesn't need to come to Omaha to sell me on the GOP ticket. Barack Obama and his shady friends have already made up my mind.

I don't thin Sarah has come to Omaha to help out Mike Johanns bid for the Senate seat being vacated by the despicable Chuck Hagel, or to hype the dismally predictable re-election of incumbent Congress-skunk Lee Terry. The Street Sweeper at the very excellent Nebraska political blog Leavenworth Street calls it correctly:

Sunday night's gig should be the continuation of the "Free Sarah Palin" tour. Many Republican politicos had been opining that the McCain camp kept Governor Palin in too much of a limited role since the convention. With her break-out in the debate -- against a guy who has spent 35 years debating in the Senate -- it looks like theMcCainiacs have seen the light.

The "Free Sarah Palin Tour" label is pure genius. I like it better than what I was going to use: Palin Impalin' the Pretend Prophet and his Pals.

Moderator Gwen Ifill does Joe Biden's lipstick

Its a good thing that Gwen Ifill, the moderator of tonight's debate between Vice Presidential candidates Joe Biden and Sarah Palin has been cleared of the ethics charges that have cast a shadow on the PBS newslady's objectivity.

Just because Gwen stands to profit from her new book, Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama. coming out in January doesn't mean she won't be fair to Governor Palin. Even to suggest she might let her financial interest in the outcome of this election stand in the way of her acting as an objective moderator is racist. Besides, I have faith that Sarah can hold her own in the face of a little unfair bias.

I suspect Ms. Ifill will need to apply a little lipstick to Senator Joe Biden. I won't complain. Joe needs all the help he can get. It reminds me of how many Mohammedans dye bright streaks of color in the ram's wool before the Eid al-Adha slaughter.

Gwen Ifill fawning over Barack Obama

The US News Media is solidly behind Barack Obama's candidacy for president. This isn't news. So it shouldn't come as any big surprise that Gwen Ifill, the 'moderator' for tonight's debate between vice-presidential candidates Joe Biden and Sarah Palin is an overt Obama supporter. But today it appears that Ms. Ifill also has a financial interest in an Obama victory.

Ifill, a news reader for The NewsHour on PBS and the managing editor and moderator for PBS's Washington Week, is simultaneously releasing a new pro-Obama book, in which Obama is potrayed as an example of Negroes 'forging a bold new path to political power'. This isn't just bias, Ifill stands to make big money if Obama wins and her book sells.

The title of Ifill's book: Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama. Though the book is being promoted now, it won't be released until January 20th. If Obama loses the election, the book won't be worth the paper it is printed on.

Don't say anything though. Act as if this blatant political profiteering and bias isn't there, Don't notice if Ifill 'moderates' the debate to favor the Obama camp. According to the Riehl World View, if you say a single word about Ifill's financial interest in seeing Obama elected, you will be called a racist.

This nauseating Oliphant cartoon goes to show the depths to which the liberal media will sink as they realize that the Barack Obama magic is vanishing. As the smoke clears and the mirrors reveal the racist hate and Marxist perfidy standing behind the wannabe Messiah, the Obama campaign along with its fellow travelers in the media are resorting to the ever more transparent and disgusting attacks on the McCain-Palin ticket.

This disrespectful cartoon is the most despicable display of classlessness since pro-slavery Democrat supporters ran this anti-Lincoln political cartoon during the 1860 presidential election campaign. I hate to think what we'd be seeing from Mr. Oliphant if McCain had chosen Condoleeza Rice as his running mate.

This shameful cartoon isn't the only thing making folks like Jeffro at the Poor Farm angry with the Obamanists. There is Charles Gibson's unprofessional and poorly prepared waste of a perfectly good opportunity to interview Sarah Palin for ABC News. He misquotes her and frames his questions to suit his painfully obvious liberal agenda. Another example of liberal desperation is the Washington Post's recent effort to connect our national remembrance of the Islamic Jihad 9/11 attack with a smear of Sarah Palin.

I can't help thinking that this ugliness is going to backfire on the Democrat party. I actually think there will be a chance to reclaim the House and Senate this November. All the Democrats have to do is stay the course down the low road they seem to have chosen.

Barack Obama has got The Fear

Sarah Palin has Barack Obama running scared. The Alaska Governor is so appealing that even Obama himself was a big fan of hers less than a month ago. Barack must think that the problem is only gender deep. Though it might reflect sexism in the fading messiah's camp, Obama is turning to women to undo the severe damage Sarah Palin's spot on the GOP ticket has wrought on his popularity.

First, Barack has trotted out Hillary Clinton. Until a few days ago, Hillary was emblematic of women in Washington politics. As Allahpundit at Hot Air points out, Obama must truly be in a panic to count on Clinton to save his campaign from Palinmania.

Next, Obama can count on his Most Rich and Famous gal pal, Oprah Winfrey to stifle the public view of Governor Palin. Oprah won't let her dreamboat Barack down, but women have been led to believe that Oprah is on their side in their efforts to overcome sexist stereotypes. I'm guessing lots of Oprah's fans will wonder why she is snubbing Sarah.

Finally, Obama could order Joe Biden to start wearing women's clothing and plant some rumors of a sex-change procedure. Barack is too proud to yank Joe Biden off the ticket (perhaps for drinking on the job) and revert to Clinton for his running mate. That would require admitting that he was wrong, something a real messiah just can't do. Changing Joe into Jo just might work.

Last night I saw two speeches delivered at the Republican National Convention that I thought were outstanding and others that were just plain good. The truly great speeches were delivered by Rudy Giuliani and Sarah Palin.
